The Content of MIS

1. Information System

Information System is the first lesson in MIS, it explain about concerning information system, computer architecture
explaining the diffrences between virtual and physical information system, explained how
to solute the problem in IT system. My first assignment was " Distributed IS as a system
of Asynchronous process, written by: Marek Rychyl and Jaroslav Zendulka. This journal
describe a design of a framework for distributed IS with a moblie architechture and an
outline of its implementations. The framework provides an automatic derivation of a formal
specification from an implementation of system, without an explicit formal description in
a design phase of project.This system made to face the globalisaton in a sphere of business
creates need for decentralised systems with a correct data distribution. The distributed
IS are designed as a network and partially independent each component to perform its specific task.

2. Knowledge Management

The second assignment in MIS was to find an international journal about Knowledge management.
My journal for knwoledge management, " The Basis of Corporate and Institutional Knowledge
Management" by Jerome Martin. This journal tell us about how to recognzie the knowledge
and divided into a kind of knowledge, how to manage personal knowledge either its between
personal relationships and networks. This journal also tell us how we manage and organizing
our personal knowledge like a library. This journal teach us to store and manage our knowledge
into an electronic base because bytes are smaller than atoms.

3. E-Commerce and EDI

for e-commerce in this assignment I have took a journal " B2B E-Commerce and The South
African horticultural export industry" by Norma Tregurtha and Nick Vink. Journal presented
here attempts to examine the nature and extent of e- commerce use within the South Africa
horticultural export sector, and to identify factors that have inhibited its development
as well as sketch how it might develop in the future.The agricultural sector is expected
to benefit most from e-commerce's ability to promote information flows, facilitate industry
co-ordination and reduce and eliminate transaction costs.
For EDI I took a journal " Integration of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)" by: Gengeswari,K.
The journal here presented the implementation f EDI has been claimed to be vital for the succes
of international trade, as it requires bundle of data excgange between many parties across
geographical boundaries.

4. Personal blog

In this assignment Mr. Dachyar ask the student to make their personal blog wheter in bogspot,
multiply or another blog spaces and have to be updete. In their own blog, the student can sell
their self to other and also they can learn how to be a writer. Blog aso can use as an
electronic diary, many uses of blog, it depend on how we treat and use the feature on blog.

5. System Analys and Barcode

For this assignment, the student will learn how to read barcode nad must know the history of barcode
and how to make barcode. After I've done with this chapter I got a little bit knowledge about
barcode, where we need a barcode, when we need, and how to make barcode for own product.
for the system analyst assignment we will know the position of system analyst and where is
the portion of Industrial engineering people on system anallyst and the uses of system analyst
in industrial process.

6. Business Process

In this assignment, Mr. Dachyar ask the student to find a business process in any company departement
and analyze the process and make the improvemnet present-propesed of the process and also we
have to draw the flow chart. For this assignment I took a process in a one of international
academic in UK in the term of their new student application.In this process I drew the flow
chart and flow process chart of the new applicant and also I make an improvement in the way
to reduce the time of this process
